WHO ARE YA?
Hi, I'm Frank Davey. Basically I am an average bloke who works full time and loves to paint when time allows. I am self taught and currently create my work from the comfort of my own home but hope that one day I will have the opportunity to work out of a proper studio.
I first started painting as a hobby but the more time I spent doing it the more I fell in love with having something for myself. It became an escape from life and gave me a sense of purpose, which is pretty great for an old geezer like me!
My claim to fame is that I was chosen as a contestant on Sky TV's Portrait Artist of the year in 2016 and my pencil portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge appeared in The Sun, which is pretty cool for an average bloke. I now have an extensive portfolio and want to share the hobby I love with everyone.
